Dynamic Bicycles Introduces New Cross Style Bike
January 15, 2007 (Holliston, Mass.) - Dynamic Bicycles, Inc. today annouced the availability of a new bike model called the Crosstown. The Crosstown is a cross-style bike designed for riders who want a light and responsive road oriented bike, but with a more upright riding position.
"The Crosstown was introduced in response to customer requests for a bike model that blended the performance of out Tempo 8-speed hybrid with the light weight of our Sprint road bike," said Patrick Perugini, president of Dynamic Bicycles. "The Crosstown is a really fun bike. It will be well suited for fitness riders and commuters tackling steeper hills and desiring faster speeds."
Dynamic Bicycles offers a complete line of chainless bicycles featuring a fully enclosed shaft drive and all-internal gearing so there are no exposed, moving parts - meaning no grease to get on hands or clothes and more quiet, smooth riding. Dynamic's chainless system combines Sussex's rugged and proven shaft drive system with Shimano's advanced internal gear hub that incorporates all of the gear components into a compact, highly efficient rear axle. This unique chainless drive system also requires very little maintenance, so owners spend less time in the bike shop and more time on the road or trail.
The Crosstown is available in 3 frame sizes - 16", 19" and 22". It uses a butted 7005 aluminum frame, aluminum front fork, 700C x 35mm tires on double wal rims, the Shimano 8-speed premium hub, and the chainless shaft drive system. The Crosstown weighs approximately 27 pounds and is available with an optional front disc brake. List price is $779.00.
