The Runabout combines Shimano’s 7-speed gearing with suspension on both the front fork and seat to provide an incredibly smooth, quiet and thoroughly enjoyable ride.

This recreational hybrid bike is a combination road bike, off-road bike and comfort bike. Built on a 700C road bike frame, this bike adds front suspension to smooth out the road, a suspension seat for comfort, riser handlebars for control and safety, an angle adjustable stem for setting just the right riding position, slightly wider tires for more versatile riding surfaces, and Shimano’s Nexus 7-speed gearing to deliver a smooth, enjoyable, worry-free ride. The Runabout’s 7-speeds offer a gear range comparable to 18 gears on a 24-gear chain bike, providing a wide range of gearing - low enough for climbing moderate hills, and high enough for cruising at speeds of 20+ MPH. Most of all, with its fully enclosed shaft drive and internal gearing, there is no grease to get on your hands or clothes and no derailleurs or sprockets to tear clothes or cut fingers.
