The Synergy offers a unique blend of versatility and durability by combining the lightweight performance of a road bike with the inherent simplicity and reliability of internal gearing. Whether you want a fast commuter suitable for any riding condition, or a go-to bike for training, club, or charity rides, the Synergy will get you there quickly with less fuss and more fun along the way. Featuring Shimano's Alfine 8-speed internal hub and new Versa 8-speed road shifter, the Synergy offers 95% of the gear range of a compact double and 92% of the gear range of a triple crankset, operated with a single STI-style shifter. This shifter, called the Versa shifter, is the first drop-bar shifter developed specifically for the Shiman internal hub. The gear range can also easily be adapted to your riding style and terrain simply by replacing the rear cog. The Synergy uses a 7005 alloy frame and carbon fork to deliver a smooth and responsive feel and lively, yet stable handling characteristics. The Synergy’s Versa crankset uses a 6061 alloy crank and external bottom bracket for smooth pedaling efficiency. The our wheelset features the Alex DA28 rims with butted spokes and the Vittoria Rubino Pro Slick 700x25 tires for light weight and low rolling resistance. Tektro 740 caliper brakes provide solid braking performance, and a Ritchey Pro handlebar, stem and seat post combine for light weight and comfort. The San Marco Ischia saddle provides comfort for long rides. Bike Weight 20 lbs. 
IMPORTANT: Please use this sizing chart for selecting your frame size. Since different manufacturer's frames use different geometries, this chart is your best reference, not your existing bike's frame size. For instance, with the Synergy's compact geometry, just because your existing bike is a 58cm, doesn't necessarily mean you would ride a 58cm in the Synergy.
