The Sidekick 8 features a light aluminum frame with a quick release hinge, collasible handlebar, and foldable pedals that allow you to quickly and easily pack the bike down to a compact 14''W x 30"L x 22"H without any tools in just 15 seconds. When setup, the Sidekick 8 offers a a comfortable upright riding position and an extremely flexible design with an adjustable seat post and handlebar to accomodate riders from 5'0'' up to 6'2'' (minimum leg length 24"; maximum leg length 36").

The Sidekick 8 uses the Shimano Nexus 8-speed hub, offering a versatile range of gearing in a very compact space. We combine the Shimano hub with a new specially designed shaft drive that maximizes the Shimano 8-speed gearing on a 20" wheeled bike so you can navigate streets, hills, sidewalks and waterfront areas smoothly and easily. In addition, the Sidekick 8 features reliable alloy linear pull brakes, alloy rims and 1.75" tires for soft rides, great control, and excellent resistance to rust and corrosion. It also includes fenders and a rear carrier for utility from the minute you unfold it.
