The Runabout Easy Step is the perfect blend of comfort, convenience and performance for recreational riding and touring. It combines Shimano’s 7-speed gearing with suspension on both the front fork and seat to provide an incredibly smooth, quiet and thoroughly enjoyable ride.
This recreational hybrid bike is a combination road bike, off-road bike and comfort bike. Using quick and smooth 700C tires (~1.5" wide), this bike adds front suspension to smooth out the road, a padded suspension seat for comfort, riser handlebars for control and safety, an adjustable stem for easy adjustment of the riding position, and Shimano’s Inter-7 gearing to deliver a smooth, enjoyable, worry-free ride. Plus, with the step through frame design, the Runabout Easy Step makes it quick and easy to get on and off. The Runabout’s 7-speeds offer a gear range comparable to 18 gears on a 24-gear chain bike, providing a wide range of gearing. Most of all, with its fully enclosed shaft drive and internal gearing, there is no grease to get on your hands or clothes and no derailleurs or sprockets to tear clothes or cut fingers.
